Celebrating a Year of Growth: ArtsvilleUSA Says Goodbye to 2024, Looks Ahead to 2025

As 2024 comes to a close, ArtsvilleUSA is taking a moment to reflect on the incredible growth we've experienced this year—none of it would have been possible without your generous support. From all of us at ArtsvilleUSA, thank you for being a vital part of our community!

Looking Back at 2024

Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve achieved this year.

Community Engagement

We hosted eight virtual and live exhibits, art talks, and events that grew our audience by 22 percent and increased our social media reach by over 200 percent. These events spread creativity and brought people together in ways only the arts can.

Supporting Local Artists

With your help, we provided global visibility and personal mentorship for 122 regional artists, empowering them to bring their vision to life and working to ensure their continued presence in Western North Carolina (WNC) despite losses to their homes, studios, and businesses as a result of Hurricane Helene.

Growing Staff

This year, we brought on Editor-in-Chief Morgan Laurens from our sister organization, NOT REAL ART, to deliver better stories to a bigger audience. As marketing director, Elise Wilson worked to build the ArtsvilleUSA brand, hear your voices, and help us reach more artists and art lovers. She will become executive director in 2025. Post-Helene, freelance photographer Michael Freas ensured we had boots on the ground, capturing what the day-to-day looked and felt like.

Looking Ahead to 2025

ArtsvilleUSA has big things on the horizon. Here’s a peek at what’s to come.

Expanded Outreach

We’ll reach more communities than ever before, promoting and platforming artists from underrepresented counties so creativity can spark a brighter future.

More Exhibits, More Artists

We’re planning even bigger and better events in 2025—more virtual and live exhibitions to enjoy and collaborations that will inspire our audience to uplift the crafts culture of WNC.

NEW Artist Grant

We’re excited to announce we’re developing brand-new programming designed to provide WNC artists with the resources they need to push their creative boundaries and produce groundbreaking work.
